This part traumatized me as a child omg omg
The first time I watched this was when I was a child, and I was watching it with my parents while they were sipping on their chai, being entertained not by the movie, but by me freaking out.
In this scene, (I’m laughing right now as I type this, omg, I was a dumb child) I clamped my eyes shut and ran straight across the living room. My dad claims that if he moved his tea mug a second later, we would’ve had a mess on our hands.
To be honest, I’m still kind of scared right now and I’m trying to avoid eye contact with the picture, and the alien is looking at me, and oh man, I’m definitely sleeping with three glasses of water next to me (remember?!).
